Bar & Bat Mitzvahs
Zoë Hannah Campagnolo Goldenfeld
Zoë Hannah Campagnolo Goldenfeld will be called to the Torah as a Batmitzvah on 25th Elul 5771 (Saturday, September 24th 2011) at 9.30am. Zoë is the younger daughter of Nigel Goldenfeld and Joan Campagnolo, and sister to Zipporah.
Zoë is a member of the Traditional Minyan, which she has attended regularly all her life. For the last year or so she has been studying with Lynn Wachtel, whom she thanks warmly for a wonderfully enjoyable experience.
Zoë is an avid reader and writer, and a keen artist. She’s also a self-described history and science-fiction geek, and a fan of deep sea creatures. Zoë grudgingly admits to being musical, but not if it means she has to do more piano practice. She attends Countryside School, where she writes and draws extensively for the school newspaper, and especially enjoys her classes in social studies, literature, and Mandarin.
Jonah Koslofsky
will be called to the Torah as a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, May 28, at 10:00 am at Sinai Temple.
He is the son of Dana Rabin and Craig Koslofsky of Urbana and the grandson of Clare and Adam Koslofsky (deceased) and David Rabin (deceased) and Pauline Rabin and Mort Miller of Sarasota, Florida.
In addition to his studies, Jonah enjoys soccer, First Lego League, Habonim Dror Tavor summer camp, and spending time with friends. Jonah has attended Sinai Temple Religious School for nine years and has especially enjoyed his experiences with his B’nai Mitzvah class. For his Mitzvah project, Jonah has been volunteering at the TIMES Center in Champaign, helping to serve meals there.
